UCAA and COVID-19

UCAA students, participants, parents, and members,

Please be advised that in an abundance of caution related to COVID-19, and based on recommendations from the Ohio Governor and the Ohio Department of Health, all UCAA subsidiary (Zorya and Kashtan) rehearsals and performances are canceled. This includes all regularly scheduled, in-person rehearsals, AND the UCAA Spring Concert initially scheduled for 5/17/2020.

The UCAA has been monitoring the situation very carefully, and to comply with Ohio Executive Orders, we had to make these tough but necessary decisions.

**Current Zorya members/parents of members**- please note that Zorya will be utilizing a digital format to continue ongoing education and “virtual rehearsals”—there will be NO in-person rehearsals. Still, please check your emails for additional information and materials.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this trying time.  The changes implemented are inconvenient, but they will help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Our top priority is to protect the health and safety of our students, participants, volunteers, supporters, their families, and the community.

We will continue providing updates as the situation subsides and as things eventually return to normal.

Please follow coronavirus.ohio.gov for the most recent updates about COVID-19 in Ohio.  The Ohio Department of Health has a call center, open daily from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., for COVID-19 questions. Call 1-833-4-ASK-ODH (1-833-427-5634).
