UCAA Responds to the War in Ukraine

It has always been the mission of the Ukrainian Cultural Arts Association of Greater Cleveland to promote Ukrainian culture through music, dance, and the arts, and to share our rich Ukrainian history throughout Northeast Ohio and beyond. This mission has never been as vital as it is today.

We cannot put into words how uniquely difficult it is to watch this war escalate in Ukraine. The sense of panic and urgency, tempered by an overwhelming feeling of helplessness, is almost paralyzing. Our Ukrainian roots run strong and deep. We are committed to helping in any way we can, and we have several relief initiatives already underway throughout our community.

In addition to crucial fundraising initiatives to support Ukraine, we continue our cherished mission to promote the beautiful and vibrant traditions of Ukrainian culture here in the diaspora as our kin fight to hold on to it in our ancestral lands.
