Travel. Dance. Repeat. (Kashtan in Ukraine: Parts 4-6)

In these three videos, we follow Kashtan on their multi-city tour of Western Ukraine. These cities include Berezhany, Shevchenkivskyi Hai, Zhydachiv, Khodoriv, Sambir, Zolochiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
A typical day started in Lviv at 6 AM when everyone boarded the bus to travel to that day’s performance city. Once they arrived, Kashtan quickly dressed in costume, marched in an opening parade, then performed their dances throughout the entire day. Each performance day ended in the evening, at which time they drove back to their home base in Lviv.
Throughout the tour, Kashtan teamed up with the Cleveland Bandura, which included Oleh Mahlay, Marko Farion, and Mykola Deychakiwsky. Check out the CBT’s performances in Sambir and Ivano-Frankivsk!
